my name is Abe the Freak.

I am a Mexican Artist & Performer.

I was born in Guadalajara,

Jalisco on Jan. 13, 1992.

As a young child my parents brought

me and my sister over to live in the U.S.

We moved around a few times in S. Cali

until we finally settled in Baldwin Park, CA.

I attended school in BP from

Elementary to High School.

After graduating from BPHS in 2010.

I went on to attend college at PCC.

I got a part time job and with time,

realized I was meant to do more.

After a decade of working in an office, day dreaming

of a life that I never thought I’d ever live;

I noticed that something

was missing in my life.

I had everything I needed

but something was missing.

One day after a night of heavy drinking, my

cousin and I had a conversation about music.

My cousin, Jesse, was producing

and making music on his own at this time.

After a long (drunk) conversation about music, I gave him a

“Joker” quote from the movie “Dark Night” and told him to

sample it. He went on to create one of the smoothest instrumentals

I had ever heard. Continuing the project “as a joke”, I wrote a few verses.

We recorded, cleaned the beat up a bit,

Something happened that first day of recording...

but it has led me here..
